Thank you, Sarona, for this great idea!! As many of you know, we have been growing Sucker trees for the past 2 weeks. Contrary to this picture, no, suckers do not actually grow from seeds (actually, in this case, roasted coffee beans). But try telling that to a 2 year old!! I joke with people that I am probably messing him up by doing this. However, I did ask Carter if he thought suckers grew out of the ground or if he thought mommy put the suckers in the pots. And just as I predicted, he figured it all out...."Mommy put them in the pot!" I can't fool him!!
Carter was so excited for his suckers to "grow!"
Unfortunately, Nate could not make it for this photo opportunity. But I know Carter is more than happy to take care of Nate's Sucker trees!!
